Hello! Well, it's been while between posts. That's what happens when you're an entrepreneur doing 2 jobs and about 100 tasks most days, I guess.

We did go to Tasmania recently, which was amazing. Can you believe I had never been there in my life?! Wish I done it sooner; it really is a special place. I can understand the hype. In this crazy world, it feels like some kind of clean, green, unspoiled heaven land. Sacred, even.

We only had 4 days for this trip (and we need to go back, believe me) so we flew into Hobart, drove up the east coast to Bay of Fires, and flew out of Launceston. This post is all about the nature, and the culture portion must wait for its own post. So – overall impression is that it has a unique kind of epic frontier beauty and majesty. And once out of the main cities, no people to be seen! Not comparatively to Victoria/NSW anyway.

And we saw lots of road kill and not much live wildlife at all. What, the?!!! But those are the impressions of a time poor, time pressed people only there for four days. Not to be relied on.

Freycinet Peninsula was stunning – that's Coles Bay and the view from Devil's Corner Winery (looking out over the Hazards) top left and middle. Oh my! So divine. 

We stopped overnight in lovely Bicheno, but our goal had always been Bay of Fires, where we arrived next day. And it WAS the beautiful highlight of the beautiful scenery we already had seen. Seriously unspoiled loveliness. Sssh, don't tell anyone, but its got to be in the top 3 of Australia's most beautiful beaches. We are going back for a dip in the warmer weather for sure.
